Be A Santa To A Senior
Would you help me bring some holiday smiles to a few folks who really need them? I'm talking about the many low-income senior citizens in our county who are living alone and struggling. Miami Dade County and Home Instead Senior Care team up each year to provide gifts through the "Be A Santa To A Senior" program. I have once again volunteered to help, requests are for:
T-Shirts Robes Slippers Socks Purses Wallets
Toiletries Bath Towels Blankets Large Numbered Clocks
Gift Certificates (Publix, Wall-Mart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc.)
If you would like to participate, please give me a call at 305-776-0010. I can stop by and pick up your new unwrapped gift between now and December 10th. Thank you very much.
Wishing You A Joyful Holiday Season ~ Marie

Marie I'm sure bring many holiday smiles to those in need with your dedication to helping your organization "Be A Santa To A Senior", even the elderly need some TLC.
Marie, This is a great service to provide. I'm sure those seniors are so excited to receive these things and just know that there are special angels out there looking after them like you!
Thanks Bob and Belinda! So much focus is placed on children during the holidays that sometimes seniors are forgotten; especially low income seniors who live alone.
Our first entry.....such a wonderful thing you and others in the community are doing to help out the seniors in need. They seem to get forgotten and lost in the shuffle. I like the idea of "Be A Santa To A Senior"
Good morning, Marie - thanks for your participation in the contest. A definite "pay it forward" moment.
Marie, this is a great thing you're doing for our seniors in need. There are so many seniors all alone.
I was! And it was awesome. It is always a blessing to be a part if a blessing. :)
